The general guidelines and policies that govern our business are established by the Board of Directors, which monitors the implementation of these initiatives through reports from the executive teams. The Board also receives advice from technical and consulting teams.

President and Founder
Chairman of Brazil Iron since 2014. Director, Financier, and shareholder of iron ore projects in Brazil, Asia, and Australia. Former CEO of Angel Bourse. Senior position at Axa and Director at Fidelity and Director of several companies listed in New York, London, among others.
Director
Former Chairman of Fortescue Metals Group and Chairman/Founder of Ferrous Resources. Senior executive at BHP and Rio Tinto with a career spanning over 40 years in the mining industry. Since 2007, he has raised over $5 billion for major mining projects with a track record of implementing and developing large projects.
Co-founder and senior partner at 1875 Finance SA. He made his first marks as a consultant for several major automobile manufacturers and their brand divisions. He co-managed the Parvest Switzerland investment fund and then reassumed the position of portfolio consultant for Banque Paribas (Suisse). He worked at Ferrier Lullin & Cie, in Geneva, where he had specific responsibility for managing portfolios of Swiss and foreign private clients.

Qualified Resources Geologist and Competent/Qualified Person as defined by JORC and NI43-101. 20 years of experience working globally in all phases of mining projects. Formally Principal Resources Geologist at Tetra Tech Inc and Geological Manager at SLR Consulting Limited.
Corporate Resource Geologist and Geology Manager
Corporate resource geologist and geology manager at Brazil Iron, with 10 years of global experience. Previous positions as Project Geologist at Tetra Tech Inc and Forge International Limited.
Vice President of Institutional Relations
With over 20 years of experience in Communication and Public Relations, he was a partner in one of Brazil's leading agencies. After leading the company's communication board for two years, he assumed the Vice-Presidency of Institutional Relations at Brazil Iron to lead the representation with key national and international stakeholders.
Environmental Manager
Rafael Genú is the Environmental Manager at Brazil Iron, with 16 years of experience in licensing and environmental management in the mining sector, especially in nickel, copper, iron, and bauxite, in addition to having worked in institutional relations and with local communities. Previously, Rafael Genú held prominent positions in global companies such as Vale and Norsk Hydro.
Exploration Manager
Production geologist and operational manager with over 30 years of experience in commodities such as gold, iron, chrome, manganese, diamond, and bauxite. Previous roles include Kinross Gold, Avanco/Oz Minerals, Vale, and IAMGold.
Director of Corporate Management
Director of Corporate Operations of Brazil Iron Mineração LTDA. Joined the company since its foundation. Graduated in Business Administration from UNA and holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from Fundação Dom Cabral/Brazil. Previously worked in a financial position at the Brazilian Center for Innovation and Technology CSEM Brasil.
Financial Controller and Board Administrator
Financial Controller and administrator of the Executive Board of Brazil Iron Ltd and subsidiaries. Joined Brazil Iron since its incorporation. Economist graduated from Insper São Paulo/Brazil. Previously worked for the Brazilian investment bank Itaú BBA.
