Brazil Iron intend to become the first integrated producer of green pellet feed, pellets and HBI, with net-zero carbon emissions. The project will produce 10mtpa of green pellet Feed, 7mtpa of green pellets and 5.0mtpa of direct reduction iron in the form of HBI.
Brazil Iron is uniquely positioned in the heart of the state of Bahia, where world class iron ore Resources can be found, within an established and growing network of renewable energy generation projects. Our operations will become a project of reference, as it revolutionizes the iron and steel industry.
The natural ingredients of wind, sun, water and high-quality iron ore, allow us to produced high quality direct reduction grade products with net-zero carbon emissions. Over 8GW of renewable generation capacity is being installed within 50km of our project. This low-cost renewable energy will be used to produce green hydrogen via electrolysis. The green hydrogen and renewable electricity will power everything that we do.
